Competition Terms and Conditions - £1k Cash Giveaway

1. Introduction:

The ‘Competition’ (‘Promotion’) is organised by Coastal Radio DAB (as defined in the General Terms and Conditions). The Promotion will run from Tuesday 12th November 2024 to 4pm Thursday 12th December 2024 on Coastal Radio DAB. Coastal Radio DAB is the Promoter. The ‘Promotion Partners’ mentioned in these Specific Rules are Hesketh Press, Lab Creative, OxyGym, Travelcare World, InXpress Blackkpool, RKMS, PHH Solicitors & Sports Billy, and the ‘Prize Provider’ is Coastal Radio DAB.

2. Agreement to Terms:

The Promotion is subject to these Specific Rules and the General Terms and Conditions. Entry into the Promotion constitutes acceptance of these Specific Rules and the General Terms and Conditions.

3. To enter the Promotion, you must visit the Coastal Radio Competition entry page at https://www.coastalradiodab.co.uk/the-1k-christmas-giveaway/, register your details, and submit an answer to the multiple-choice question provided.

4. Online entry will open at 06.00 on Tuesday 12th November 2024 and close at 16:00 on Thursday 12th December 2024. Entries received before or after this time will not be included in the Promotion.

5. Bulk, automated, machine-assisted, third-party, syndicate, or other group entries are prohibited. Coastal Radio DAB reserves the right to disqualify any entries (and withhold or reclaim associated prizes) that, in its reasonable opinion, appear to have used such methods or exhibit suspicious or fraudulent behaviour, including multiple entries from the same IP address, email address, postal address, or telephone number.

6. If Coastal Radio DAB knows or suspects you are trying to enter or have entered the Promotion using more than one phone number or variations of your name, it reserves the right to disqualify any relevant entries and exclude you permanently from future Promotions.

7. Draw Details:

• Draw One: All eligible, correct entries submitted before 4pm on Thursday 11th December will be entered. 10 winners will be selected and contacted to find out where they will be at 3pm Friday 13th December 2024.

• Draw Two: A final winner will be selected from all eligible, correct shortlisted entries. One winner will be selected at random and Coastal Radio team will show up to present the prize at their location.

Publicity:

8. Coastal Radio DAB and the Prize Provider may publish your name, image, social media handle, profile picture, and nearest geographical location (e.g., nearest town/city) for publicity purposes related to the Promotion.

9. Winners (and their guests, if applicable) may be interviewed, photographed, and/or filmed by Coastal Radio DAB or the Promotion Partners. These materials may be used for publicity and PR purposes in any media, worldwide, in perpetuity.

Eligibility:

10. The Promotion is open to UK residents aged 18 and over who are based in the UK at the time of entry.

11. Winners may be required to provide Photo ID (e.g., passport or driving license) and proof of ownership of the telephone number used to enter. Coastal Radio DAB reserves the right to withhold prizes if this information is not provided.

Prize:

12. ONE winner will receive £1,000 in cash.

13. If a prize consists of multiple elements, winners must redeem all aspects of the prize. Prizes cannot be partially accepted.

14. Costs and expenses not explicitly included in the prize description will be the responsibility of the winner.

15. Prizes are non-transferable and non-refundable.

16. Coastal Radio DAB reserves the right to substitute the prize with another of equal or greater value at its sole discretion.

Data Protection:

18. Your personal data will be collected and processed by Coastal Radio DAB, the Promotion Partners, the Prize Provider, and relevant service providers to administer the Promotion. Data may also be disclosed to regulatory authorities, such as Ofcom or the Advertising Standards Authority, as required.

19. By entering, you acknowledge that your personal data will be processed in accordance with Coastal Radio DAB’s Privacy Policy and the Promotion Partner’s Privacy Policy.

20. Entrants may opt-in to marketing communications from Coastal Radio DAB. Consent can be withdrawn at any time by unsubscribing.

21. Coastal Radio DAB will retain your personal data for up to three years for regulatory purposes. If data is erased before the Promotion concludes, entrants forfeit their right to participate or claim prizes.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by UK law. For any disputes, the jurisdiction of the UK courts will apply.
