Turtle Bay holding 'audition' day to fill 40 jobs at new venue

The new venue will be holding auditions for new staff at the Imperial Hotel.

Turtle Bay's new Blackpool restaurant is looking for staff to fill all positions and will hold an 'audition' day for hopefuls.

The Caribbean-inspired restaurant and bar chain is being built on the old Che Bar and Coco's site, on the ground floor of the Forshaws Hotel on Talbot Square. The opening is planned for before the summer season and has promised to bring some Caribbean magic with Tropical cocktails, food, and reggae beats.

The chain is looking to recruit 40 new Front and back-of-house staff and plans to hold an 'audition' for potential hopefuls at The Imperial  Hotel on the 31st of May. Talented chefs, bartenders, and front-of-house potential crew members are being encouraged to sign up for the event and find out more about the available opportunities. 

The process will also include an invitation to an in-person interview, including a short online assessment and a face-to-face interview. Turtle Bay has said that they set out the recruitment process to be a fun, interactive experience, putting forward an warm and welcoming atmosphere so applicants can get a real taste of what it's like working for the brand.

Described as the perfect opportunity for candidates to get to know the chain, the audition process also allows for the Turtle Bay team to learn more about their personalities and abilities, with both front and back-of-house roles up for grabs, from chefs, bartenders, and waiting staff.

Those successful recruits will be taught everything there is to know about working for Turtle Bay, experiencing Rum tasting sessions, learning the secrets of the chain's jerk pit BBQ, and more.
