Chris Beech, who took over from Adam Murray in October, was given the full time management position in December.

The former Blackpool player has strengthened his backroom staff with the addition of Nick Anderton, as assistant first team coach and Conrad Prendergast, who has been promoted from his role in the clubs academy, to assist Chris Beech with the first team.

Nick Anderton has previous pedigree in leagued football having worked fellow Lancastrian clubs like Blackpool and Preston North End, as well as shifts at Carlisle United and Bristol Rovers.

Meanwhile Prendergast has been working with the clubs academy, and will continue to manage the clubs under 18s in conjunction with a new role with the senior team.

Manager Chris Beech told AFC Fylde's website “I’m absolutely delighted that Conrad and Nick have joined the backroom staff at the football club, as we look to secure and consolidate our position in the National League, and these appointments will undoubtedly help us to do that”.

Fylde's next League fixture is against York City on Saturday.
