Andy Mitchell
Andy Mitchell has over 40 years of experience in radio, having started his career at Radio Victoria at Blackpool Victoria, before moving across the country to work at various stations as a producer and news reader.
In 1992, he returned to Blackpool, to head up the news team at the newly founded Radio Wave, a role he maintained until the stations closure and re-branding in 2020.
Andy's voice can also be heard on public transport across the town, as he provides the announcements on a buses and trams in Blackpool.

John Craven - He presented Newsround on telly when I was a kid; he made me want to be a journalist. I once met him at the Imperial Hotel.
