All About Sasha:

Sasha is a second year Journalism student studying at the University of Central Lancashire. Sasha joined our team in September 2023, and aspires to work in radio and Tv as a Journalist/Presenter.

Who is your career inspiration? 

My Career inspiration is Sophia Smith Galer as the work she has done to push journalism onto TikTok has been amazing.

What Movie best describes you?

Probably Shrek, as he went on a great adventure and Shrek had to leave his home and venture out on this journey where everything he knew was challenged. I feel like this best describes me, as I'm always taking risks and trying to move out of my comfort zone. I also moved all the way up north from down south for university, so I understand what it's like to leave home and start a new journey.

It's 5pm on a Friday Afternoon, what are you doing? 

Most likely recording an episode of my Podcast or editing a video for TikTok

If you could swap lives with anyone in the office, who would it be and why?

I would say Ged as he has a energetic personality

If you were in a band, what would your band name be?

It would be Go Eve, as that was my stepdad's business who sadly passed away

If you could work anywhere else in Blackpool for a day, where would you work and why?

I would love to work at the Blackpool Tower, the sights from that height are so beautiful

What are your three favourite songs? 

1) All Star By Smash Mouth (massive Shrek fan)

2) Mamma Mia by ABBA (go to Karaoke song)

3) Helmet by Steve Lacey (all time favourite artist)

Probably the meme with the baby holding up his fist and looking like he's feeling accomplished
